These terms govern your use of this site. All written and visual content is our intellectual property unless someone else is credited. You may not scrape, mirror, or republish substantial portions for commercial purposes. Pricing, availability, and product information are provided as accurately as we can manage but may be updated or corrected at any time; the price you see when you confirm an order is the price you pay. We may decline service for any reasonable cause, including out-of-stock items or suspected misuse, and will refund any payment in full. Our liability for defects is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the item itself. Statutory consumer protections in your jurisdiction apply. Any disputes are subject to the courts of the country in which we are registered.
The drinks, beans, and prices shown are a guide and may change with the season or the day's roast. We will always tell you the price before you order.
If anything here is unclear, or if a visit did not go as you hoped, please write to us. We would rather hear from you than not.
Our honey is cold-extracted and unpasteurised. It will crystallise — sometimes within weeks, depending on the forage. Crystallisation is a sign that honey has not been heat-treated, not a sign that it has spoiled. Warm the jar gently in water if you prefer it liquid; do not microwave it.
Colour, scent, and texture change with each harvest and each forage. A jar from this spring will not match a jar from last autumn. We date and describe every batch instead of blending to a house standard.
Descriptions on this site are about flavour and origin. We make no medical or therapeutic claims for honey of any kind, and nothing here should be read as nutritional advice.
Yields depend on weather and on the colonies. Some years a single-origin harvest is very small and sells out in days. We will not blend in bought-in honey to make stock last.
These terms are governed by Japanese law, with the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
If a harvest you wanted sells out, we can note your interest for the next one. That note holds a name and an email and nothing else, and it is deleted once we have contacted you.
If the apiaries, the harvests, or the shipping arrangements change, these terms follow. The revised text and its effective date appear on this page; continuing to use the site after that date means you accept them.
An invalid clause is severed and the rest stands. Statutory rights under Japanese law are not affected by these terms.

Single-origin harvests are small and sell out. If a harvest you ordered runs out between your order and our packing, we will contact you and offer an alternative or a refund. We will not substitute silently.
Colour and set vary between jars from the same harvest because honey is not homogenised here. A jar that has set solid and one that is still runny can come from the same drum.
We stand behind the honey: its origin, its handling, the warning on the label, and the state of the jar when it reaches the courier.
We are not responsible for honey stored badly after delivery, or for anyone disregarding the infant warning. That warning is repeated on the jar, on the product page, and in the privacy policy because it is the one thing on this site that could actually hurt someone.
Yields are what the bees produce. We do not guarantee that any harvest will be available in any given year.
Prices follow yield. A poor year means less honey and a higher price per jar, and we would rather say that plainly than blend in bought-in honey to hold a number.
